I made this thing right before I left for college and basically abandoned it soon after. Now that I have some half-way decent stuff to show off I dug this thing back up and loaded a couple of my recent pieces.
well, I've been meaning to sign up for devientart for a while now. I don't know why. Just figured I'd check it out. I'm at my buddy's house right now and I'm really bored. I really don't know what to write.
Well, I'm moving up to Redmond, Washington to go to school at Digipen. I'm majoring in Realtime Interactive Simulation (a fansy way of saying game design) I'll be leaving the 20th. I can't wait. Right now I live in Northern Cali. It's cool but none of my friends are really into gaming like I am. They're still really cool though and I'm gonna miss them. I've known some of them since I was four.
I'm gonna be rooming with three other guys who seem to be really cool. They're all geeks to differant degrees. One guy's really smart. One guy seems like a tech-type of guy. And the other is gonna teach me to play D&D (I'm stoked about that one). I've wanted to learn how to play for like forever.
I don't have any art to put on right now because A'm on my buddy's computer. I mostly just sketch stuff. I'd like to actually finish something (like shade it and maybe even ink it) but I always get bored with it once I get my main point across. But I've got a bunch of them. Mostly character sketches. I can't copy stuff to save my life, it has to come from my head. I just get frustrated when I try to draw someone or something that already exists.
Hhmm... well I guess that's me in a nut-shell, I guess I didn't get to my amazing pwnage of others at video games (Smash Bros. rules all) but I'll save that for another day. I think I'll try to find my buddy True's profile, I know he's here somewhere. Ah well, this is TheStangman signing out. See yu!
